Projects
Where ARES is installed and the organizations that make it possible.
With our partners, ARES is active in about 75 schools. Most are in rural Kenya, and schools in Malawi, Uganda and the Philippines have also benefited. Next comes the Model Schools pilot in January 2027.
Where we work
- Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Laikipia County. Our longest-running program, with ICT in education across the conservancy's community schools.
- Laikipia County Community Library. An ARES computer lab was added to the library in January 2023.
- Tsavo Conservancy, southeast Kenya. Schools in communities around the conservancy.
- Model Schools (from January 2027). Five pilot schools where ARES moves into every classroom, built with SeaVuria.
- Teacher training. Hands-on workshops so teachers can build ARES into everyday lessons.
- The Philippines. ARES units and libraries installed in schools in Cavite, Cebu and Bohol in 2020.
